Ready, Set, Action!

Last week, we touched on feelings. This week, it’s a quick jump to actions:

Circumstances–> Thoughts–> Feelings–>  Actions–> Results

It’s clear to see the linear progression. What happens after you feel X (insert any given emotion here)?

You do_______.

You don’t do_______.

You avoid_______.

ACTIONS are defined as behaviors, reactions or inactions. And they directly loop back to our feelings… which are a reflection of our thoughts. 

These actions ultimately lead us to our results. 

What happens when the result you have in your life isn’t what you want? 

You need to change your actions. But what needs to change first? How you Feel!  

I know you can grunt your way through for short periods of time, (maybe long periods of time: days/ weeks/ months perhaps… we’re pretty resilient << read hard-headed, stubborn and really willing to suffer through a bunch of crap>>folks), but at some point or another: your end results are generated from actions. And this is the fallout from how you feel. When we can manage our thinking and take action from feelings we want to have, there is alignment with our values and our short- and long-term goals. When our actions are generated from authenticity: magic happens!
